While in Doha, Rijiju met with Qatar’s current Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, conveying heartfelt condolences from the Indian government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The late Father Amir was praised by Rijiju as a visionary leader who significantly contributed to Qatar’s progress and played a crucial role in fortifying the strategic partnership between the two countries.
